Lectures

This website was developed to provide an overview of our clerkship rotation.  We also want to give some strategies to medical students who want to pursue a career  in Emergency Medicine. The content available is composed of lectures, cases, videos and links to EM based content.

Each year is becoming more competitive to get a spot in one of the Emergency Medicine Residency Programs.

How you can improve your chances of getting a spot?

  1. You should do at least one  clerkship rotation in your program of interest; this not only will give you an opportunity to be known by the program, but will also give you an inside view of the program.  It is important that you find the best fit for you.

  2. Your SLOE, Board Exam scores, research, extra curricular activities, etc.
